About Chad Rappaport

Dr. Chad W. Rappaport graduated from Des Moines University Medical Center in 2000 with a doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery. He then returned to his home state of NJ where he was offered a surgical residency position within the highly competitive and grueling Bon Secous & Canterbury Podiatric Surgical Residency Program. Upon graduation in 2003 Dr Rappaport joined a large orthopedic group in Central Pennsylvania where he practiced for 5 years before returning to NJ where he joined Kayal Orthopaedic Center where he served as Chief of Foot & Ankle Surgery for 13 years.

Dr Rappaport is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the highly selective American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He is also a long standing fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.

Dr Rappaport treats all problems associated with the lower leg, ankle and foot; both ordinary, common and uncomplicated issues as well as highly complex deformities and conditions requiring intricate, complicated surgery. Dr Rappaport has been the first surgeon to perform a total ankle replacement surgery at several NJ institutions.
Outside his passion for foot and ankle surgery, Dr Rappaport enjoys hiking with his dog, golf, basketball, skiing but most of all spending time with his daughter Katie.
